Learn more about Dr Byergo’s path to excellence in optometry:
After getting my first glasses in 6th grade I could finally see again! I had no idea people could read the chalkboard or see leaves on trees. I needed glasses for years beforehand, but because I was a child, I was not equipped to express that myself. This is the case for the children I serve. Many teachers and parents don’t recognize their students are struggling until their school or sports performance seriously declines. Regular yearly eye exams with your optometrist are so important! I wish we had access to myopia management treatments at that time to prevent my vision from getting worse every year, which is why I am so happy to be able to offer this service to my young patients now.

I love when patients tell me they’ve never had a doctor be so thorough, explain things in a way they understand, or solve a problem they’ve had for years- even when they’ve been to the best specialists. I remember when I was new to the practice a patient told me with tears in their eyes how grateful they were to be able to see again after years of losing vision without a proper diagnosis from anyone else. Understanding patient education and meeting patient needs is my absolute priority. Moments like these make all my hard work worth it!

To provide excellent care in rural areas, Vision Solutions doesn’t specialize in just one area. We maximize what we provide to our patients with new technology and treatments because that is what our patients deserve. I provide expertise in a wide array of services because I can also understand the frustration of being referred to an unknown doctor hours away.

Dr. Byergo enjoys seeing all types and ages of patients in our Webb City and Nevada offices and is experienced in pediatrics, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management. He is passionate about Myopia Management to prevent children from losing vision and is focused on providing a lifetime of clear vision.

Dr. Byergo is currently accepting new patients of all ages in Webb City.

"It is so fulfilling to improve and challenge yourself, along with the support of your peers, to push Missouri optometry as a whole to new heights!"
